Short Biography

Mehmet Baran Erceylan is a technology-driven business development and infrastructure leader with a civil engineering background and extensive international experience across the energy, oil & gas, mining, telecommunications and digital infrastructure sectors. A graduate of Gaziantep University in Civil Engineering with further studies in Digital Marketing at Harvard Extension School, he combines strong engineering fundamentals with strategic commercial acumen.

Currently serving as Director of Infrastructure and Strategic Projects at D Tech Cloud, part of Demirören Yatırım Holding, he leads initiatives at the intersection of media, technology and digital transformation, reinforcing the company’s pioneering role in hyperscale and hybrid cloud solutions. Throughout his career, he has held key positions including Head of Strategic Development at ALP24 and, over nearly six years at Pavo Group, roles such as Africa Region Manager, Marketing & Business Development Manager, Business Development Associate and Sales Engineer — delivering major data center, border security and infrastructure projects across the Middle East and Africa.

Baran specializes in international business development, large-scale project management and building strategic relationships with government bodies and private-sector partners across multiple countries. Recognized as a communicator, presenter and effective team leader, he is known for driving sustainable growth and delivering complex, multi-stakeholder projects in challenging environments.
